This instalation, designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates took place last year on the ``Casa per tutti´´ at the Milan Trienale.
All the proyects presented were working on providing constructive design responses to the social need of communities or individuals deprived of the basic right of a home. At the end, many forms of urban and environmental emergency came up.
``Umbrellas join forces´´ talks about shelter, gathering and beauty. It brings up an amazing space by the adding-up of a sincere object, an umbrella. The space created inside is magic and unprogrammed.
Now this project is part of the exhibition Actions: What You Can Do With the City which presents 99 actions that instigate positive change in contemporary cities around the world. On the Canadian Centre for Architecture, 26 November 2008 - 19 April 2009.
